What is pain?

Pain is like a car alarm, it is a mechanism that is triggered when we are driving ourselves away from our truth, our Soul-Self. We hurt because we deny or escape from the unconditional love that is given to us and that represents the essence of our very being.

How do we create pain?

We do that by creating distorted patterns of behaviour or ideas, by taking in what others tell us as the truth without seeking inside. Hence, we deny or ignore the truth within, the only truth. For we all know very well what it is that we are here to do, and what it is an appropriated way of behaviour. We just need to go to the space above our physical heart, or heart centre, and ask our Soul-Self or Higher Self the way ahead.

This planet is full of pain, so much so, that people are used to it, it is a constant within so nobody even notice it anymore. When mental and emotional pain goes unresolved or is put aside and denied, it will manifest as physical illnesses or addictions.

Indeed, most physical illnesses can start at a mental or emotional level. On occasions, when it is required by the life path of the individual, illnesses can be catalyzed from higher planes or they can be the result of past karma.

The mechanism of pain is very simple. We face a situation; the situation requires a decision, to be in the flow we have to choose our highest joy with unconditional love and respect for oneself.

For example, a boyfriend wants his girlfriend to go with him to a party but his girlfriend feels uncomfortable because she doesn’t like the environment. She can speak her truth kindly and express her feelings or she can “for the sake of avoiding an argument” go and suffer and be in pain and create resentment that will come out later on the relationship.

The unspoken pain can cause all sorts of dysfunctions in the physical body because it creates darken patches in the subtle vehicles. Those patches prevent the energy flow coming from the Universe and Sun reaching all the vibrational energy bodies.

As their name indicates they are energy bodies and because they are subtle, in other words not made of solidified energy or matter, they feed from the cosmic energies that we receive. We don’t see the cosmic rays or the energy from the sun but we need them.

Which kind of pain is more common?

Pain in this planet is mostly emotional. Adrenaline is in high demand here as the majority of the population lives in fear with the sense of “being out of control” and holding tight to their emotions, mostly negative, in a way that makes the impression that he who has emotions is weak and it is going to be condemned to the capital punishment for having them.

The biggest difficulty arises when the emotional and mental bodies get entangled and we get what we call “looping” thoughts that are obsessively devastating.

This is a nightmare scenario in which we put ourselves in an imaginary situation that we perceive “as being in danger” when in reality nothing has happened yet and maybe nothing  will ever happen.

It is just speculation about possible scenarios where we fear our “image” or “public persona” getting a hit of some sort that could undermine the self image that we have of ourselves.

There are techniques to overcome this “loopinng", one strategy could be to do some conscious breathing, and to surrender to the facts and don’t arrive to conclusions of “worst case scenario” until the time comes, if it does.

Apart from what we have already said, there is other factor in the creation of pain and that is attachment.

Attachment is the fear of losing something, or the belief that once we move on from our current situation, relationship or let go material possessions; there may not be something new and better for us, so we cling on what we know and sacrifice our integrity for the sake of stability.

This is a difficult one because the underlying currents of fear are so strong that it is easy to fall in this one.

In reality, attachment is what it is called the creation of “false gods” and idols that are outside us rather than inside us. It is one of the greatest causes of pain in this planet, also poverty and emotional misery.

Why? Because when we get attached to something and would not let go we stop the flow of progress and development of our souls. Same happens if we look to the past rather that living the now. By stopping the flow we also close the doors to our prosperity as new things can not come if we are not prepared to let go what we have. These applies not only to material things, it is also important to let go memories of old pain, resentment and hurts as they will tint our current reality that has no relationship with the past.

Perhaps the secret lies in enjoying what we have now to the full, to its highest potential and so we feel full of it to a point in which that satisfaction help us to move on and search for the next experience that we may have.

A will for experimentation and detachment combined with acceptance and surrender to our circumstances makes up for a full life, where the different colour of each morning and the texture of the air we breathe will be felt and noticed. And when we come to the point in which we can breathe consciously all day there will be no more pain because we will be in permanent union with Soul-Self.

Apart from your pain, you can experience other people’s pain. This happens to sensitive individuals that have developed their connections with the subtle bodies and can be quite uncomfortable.

One of the most common examples of transmission of emotions is mass panic. We observed that very well in Florida in the hurricane season. True to say that hurricanes are not mean thing but the way the people fall into the heard mentality is quite a sight.

You are advised to buy some tinned supplies, flash lights, water etc., but you see people buying all sorts of useless stuff like if it was the end of the world. For example, what is the use of buying frozen food when the electricity may be cut for days?

Here in England we have observed a similar sort of phenomena at Christmas where people are desperate to buy things just because the shops will be closed for a day. It is only one day.

And so, there are other common feelings that we pick up that create pain on us like anxiety, lust, a sense that we are being left behind, rushing for no reason even if we have time to spare etc., Every town and city has its own underlying characteristic negative vibration.

The best medicine against pain is self awareness, to now the vibration of your energy and to be attentive to what comes in into the radar of your solar plexus and other energy points. To work in transforming your negative patterns, and to surrender your personality to your Soul-Self or Higher Self.
