Helping older adults stay independent in a digital world
KindNet is a local service based in Winsford, created to help older adults feel more confident using technology in everyday life.
Many important things are now done online — booking appointments, speaking with family, using the NHS App, shopping, banking, filling in forms or simply finding information. For many older people, this can feel confusing, stressful or even frightening.
KindNet was created to make technology feel calmer, simpler and more personal.
We provide friendly one-to-one support in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace. There are no rushed lessons, no complicated language and no silly questions.
Whether you would like to use a tablet, send emails, make video calls, use WhatsApp, browse the Internet safely, take photos, or understand online services better, KindNet is here to help step by step.
KindNet may also be helpful for people who find it difficult to attend group courses due to mobility issues, health reasons or lack of transport.
Trust and safety are very important. KindNet support is patient, respectful and focused on helping people gain confidence without pressure. I also hold a DBS certificate.
